RAUROS actively participated in the 5th International Conference on Asphalt 4.0, organized by ASEFMA and held in Madrid on September 22–23, 2026, under the theme “Asphalt 4.0: digital intelligence for more sustainable, durable and productive roads”
The event brought together professionals, public authorities, companies, and industry specialists to discuss advances in digitalization, emerging technologies, and tools aimed at improving the sustainability, durability, and efficiency of road infrastructure.
As part of the technical program, the Managing Director of RAUROS, Antonio Ramos, participated in Session 6: “The development of digital platforms for road administrations”, with the presentation “From engineering evidence to public decision: the strategic role of technical teams in road asset management”.
His presentation addressed the evolution of new digital platforms for road management, with particular emphasis on adapting these solutions to the needs of executive leadership within road authorities.
The presentation focused on a key aspect of modern infrastructure management: the ability to transform technical information and engineering data into actionable insights for decision-making. These platforms enable the integration of indicators related to asset condition, maintenance needs, intervention planning, and other strategic parameters, providing a comprehensive overview of the road network and supporting investment prioritization.
The Managing Director of RAUROS also participated in the panel discussion following the session, sharing experiences and perspectives with other specialists on the current and future challenges of digital transformation within road authorities.
RAUROS’ participation in Asphalt 4.0 reinforces the company’s commitment to developing technological solutions for integrated road asset management and to combining engineering expertise, data, and digital tools as the foundation for more efficient, informed, and evidence-based decision-making.
