GEOMETRY
ICARO displays, both graphically and numerically, the geometric data of superelevation, gradient, and curvature radius, obtained by high-performance equipment with an integrated inertial system.

INVENTORY
Contains the inventory of all the elements of the network: road markings, vertical signage, equipment, surroundings, milestones, structures… located along the roads. Each element has a customized record that logs its characteristics, including location, condition, inspection history, and maintenance actions performed.

MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION
This module allows the management of work orders and incidents generated by the maintenance teams, as well as the planning of maintenance activities. By keeping this information updated, it will be easy to obtain cost-valued lists and reports that streamline and support road maintenance and management tasks.

PAVEMENTS
Keeping the information in this module up to date makes it possible to know the current structural section of the entire network, as well as the complete history of all pavement interventions, including their characteristics (execution date, materials used, contractor, etc.).

ROAD MONITORING
All measurements taken using high-performance equipment can be consulted: historical values, statistics, etc., corresponding to the structural and functional characteristics of the pavement. These data are accessible through graphs, histograms, themes, and tables.

THEMATIC MAPS
ICARO allows any query to be represented through thematic mapping on the cartography, providing a visual output that facilitates interpretation of results by locating them on the road network map.

TRAFFIC
Current and historical data recorded at traffic counting stations can be consulted. This information enables the automatic calculation of the Level of Service of the entire network.

ROAD SAFETY
All road accident data are stored in the system. ICARO automatically identifies the Accident Concentration Sections, the Hazard Index, and the Mortality Index, key indicators for analyzing the road safety performance of the network.

FLEET MANAGER
Allows visualization and control of the routes followed by maintenance vehicles, providing performance and work data (for example, real-time information on whether snowplow blades are raised or lowered).

ROAD SEGMENTATION
This module automatically segments the roads into sections with homogeneous behavior. Each of them will be characterized by statistical road monitoring values, enabling analysis through the Expert Pavement Management system.

EXPERT PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT
Once the desired quality level is defined, ICARO determines the long-term action plan, adjusting interventions to meet both technical and economic needs of the managing authority. Parameter evolution is based on performance models developed from RAUROS’ experience across multiple road networks studied since the beginning of the system’s development.

QUERIES
Existing data from any module or discipline can be queried. The main strength of this tool is its ability to cross-reference information from different areas. In a simple and fast way, it allows obtaining specific information. In addition, the data obtained can be displayed in tables and thematic maps.

EXPERT STRUCTURE MANAGEMENT
This module analyzes structural to ensure future service conditions, estimating maintenance needs across the network and recommending intervention projects while considering budgetary and policy constraints.

EXPERT SLOPE MANAGEMENT
ICARO includes slope management systems, allowing the recording of inspections and the calculation of condition indicators.
